HOW IT WORKS

How MT5 copy trading works on TECH TRADES GOLD

TECH TRADES GOLD mirrors every trade from a single master account — GoldAIBot — onto your own MT4 or MT5 broker account, automatically. You never hand over control of your funds; you connect your account, and trades replicate in near real time.

Definition: copy trading — a system where trade orders (entries, exits, lot sizing) executed on one "master" account are automatically replicated onto one or more "follower" accounts, usually via a bridge or signal-relay service, rather than a human manually re-entering each trade.

1. The master account

GoldAIBot trades XAUUSD (spot gold vs. US dollar) on a verified master account. Every position it opens or closes generates a trade event.

2. The bridge

A connector EA (Expert Advisor) running on the master account streams every trade event over a persistent WebSocket connection in real time. Your follower account receives and replicates that event — typically in under 150ms from master fill to your order submission.

3. Your credentials, handled separately

Your MT4/MT5 password is transmitted directly to MetaAPI.cloud (ISO 27001 certified) to establish the connection to your broker — it is never stored in the TECH TRADES GOLD database. The bridge itself only uses a read-only token for trade streaming, not your login credentials.

4. The daily risk limit

GoldAIBot has a built-in daily stop: by default, if the master account's equity drawdown hits 3% in a single day, the EA closes all open positions and halts new entries until the next server day. A separate "green-lock" mechanism can also bank a profitable day early to reduce round-trip risk. This is a mechanical limit on the master account's own risk-taking — it does not guarantee your follower account won't experience losses; see our risk disclosure.

5. You stay in control

You can pause, resume, or fully disconnect your account from the dashboard at any time. Disconnecting does not automatically close your open positions — you manage those directly in your own broker terminal.
